Campus Facilities & Support

Learning facilities for MBS study programs are located in the University of Mannheim and Education Center Dalbergplatz (ECD). Information on these locations could be found here.

Good to know

… that it is helpful to be familiar with the University of Mannheim's library and its borrowing & returning system in place to obtain access to/borrow study materials
… that the university's cafeterias offer attractive special menus, sometimes with themes, e.g. Asian, Mexican, and Vegetarian
… that the student card for the University of Mannheim, called the 'ecUM' card, can only be topped up via an 'autoload scheme' for which a German bank account is required. More information is available in the ecUM center in the university's main library.

Additional Support

MBS provides additional support for participants, particularly with regard to registration with authorities in Mannheim or in Germany in general. Some examples are as listed below:

Registration form ('Meldebescheinigung') and residence permit application form for Mannheim (!) are available in the MBS office
Individual support for registration may be available upon availability and by request (by appointment only)
Scheduling appointment with the Mannheim (!) foreigners' registration officer for submitting one's residence permit application
