Mannheim has a few student apartments within 10 or 20 minutes walking distance to our MBS course locations, and to the city centre. The apartments are normally fully furnished, including internet access. Common facilities such as washing machines are available in the basement or in a nearby location. The rent prices for the apartments may vary between €450 to €680 per month. Compared to the number of students in Mannheim, the number of student apartments is considerably less. Hence, the "first come, first serve" principle normally applies. MBS participants would receive more information on the accommodation via email in due time.

MBS cooperates with some hotels in Mannheim offering special rates for MBS participants. Mostly located in close proximity to MBS course locations, these hotels provide flexible accommodation, especially for short term stays or within the first few weeks in Mannheim. A list of hotels with which MBS cooperates is available only for MBS participants.
In Germany, it is common for students to rent an apartment for themselves, a room in a shared flat ("Wohngemeinschaft"/"WG"), or live in a student residence ("Studentenwohnheim").
While living in a residence or private accommodation might be bit cheaper in the long run, competition is high – especially around September due to the start of a new academic year.
There are many advertisements for private accommodations and student residences available online or in-print.
